Patient Transport Service


The patient or the patient's carer is responsible for requesting transport.  Ring the Booking Office on 0300 777 6688.  E-zec Medical Transport Services provide non-emergency patient transport.  The patient transport service (PTS) provides planned, non-emergency transport for patients to and from NHS hospitals and clinics in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.  It is only available for eligible patients who need the support of clinically trained staff and / or medical equipment during their journey.

If you are having trouble getting to your hospital appointment, you can contact Four Towns and Vale Link Community Transport on 01454 419 372.  They offer door-to door accessible vehicles and help people get to: GP and Hospital appointments, shopping trips, social visits and work/education.  They aim to provide safe, cost effective, accessible transport to residents and groups in the Four Towns and Vale Link areas to complement the existing transport system.  They offer a Ring-and-Ride service for individuals and a Social Car Scheme with volunteers using their own cars.  To qualify, residents must live within the Four Towns & Vale link area and one of the following must apply:  Be aged 60 years or more, Have a special needs, Be in receipts of benefits, Have access problems, or Hold a Diamond bus pass.   Email: info@4tvl.org.uk   Visit www.4tvl.org.uk
